We will be taking the time this weekend to celebrate our Independence Day; we will be back on Monday with new posts, including one about a new poll being conducted that tests the field for a possible Ciresi primary challenge.
The Fourth of July is not just about fireworks and summer fun; it is the celebration of our nation. Sometimes it seems that we American forget what it means to be an American. We forget what is means to sacrifice. We forget what it means to not just be handed something, but to work for something. America is the greatest country on earth because of our culture, our history, our government, and our people. We should never forget where we came from and what challenges lie ahead; that is why we celebrate Independence Day.
This is one of the most pivotal periods in our nation's history, and this Senate election is a major part of it. We ask you to think carefully about which of the candidates, Norm, Al, Jesse and Mike, is the person who can most effectively carry your principles and ideals to the U.S. Senate.
Click here to watch Barack Obama's speech on patriotism, it's a good one! Have a wonderful Fourth and we will be back on Monday.

Another Call in...
This is the exact kind of response to Franken that we're worried about. Listen to this call in from a DFLer who's considering voting for Coleman. :(
Go to the bottom of the page to leave a message for the blog and we'll post it. All you have to do is type your number into the Grand Central box and presto, Grand Central will call your phone. Then all you to do is pick up and you're connected to our voicemail.
